Justin and Jodi

On July 9, 2016 this beautiful couple shared their love story with family friends in a lovely summer wedding in Saskatoon. The day started with a rockin' playlist created by Jodi. This included hit songs ranging from the early 90s to today. As she danced away in her make-up chair it was evident that she was full of excitement for the day. The house was full of love, with her mom, sister-in-laws, brothers, nieces, nephew, and friends, the house was oozing with good vibes. As her mom zipped up her dress, she put on her wedding shoes, which had a picture of her dad on the top of each shoe. I took a moment to reflect on how beautiful it was that she has her dad with her the entire day and so thankful that she asked me to capture her and Justin's special day.

We all made our way to the church, where a charming and sweet ceremony took place. As her brother and mom walked Jodi down the isle, Justin was beaming. As a wedding photographer or even a guest, the look of the groom, when the bride is walking down the isle is priceless. After the ceremony along with Jodi and Justin, family, and the bridal party, gathered at Kinsmen Park to take pictures. As we arrived at the park, we were delayed by a little down pour, which perfectly fit into the idea that rain on your wedding day is good luck! Many laughs were had as we continued with our pictures that afternoon.

After the formals, the bridal party cruised to the reception to enjoy a wonderful meal and entertainment from some great MCs. As they entered the hall, many guest enjoyed and participated in a hilarious program. As the night continued, Jodi and Justin shared their first dance as husband and wife as guests looked on at these two wonderful people. I just want to say thank you for asking me to capture your special day and sharing these memories for you to enjoy

.

*A big thank you to Makoi Belen Photography for helping me out that day as well

Cheers,

Jas
