  • Newborn: Baby Paulsen

The Paulsen family visited my studio to capture some precious memories of their new addition Andreas. This little man was so content the entire session, especially resting in his mom and dad's arms. Thank you to this wonderful family for coming into my studio and spending the morning capturing some beautiful memories. Cheers, Jas

  • Family Session: Lucyschyn

One of my favorite things is when clients start off with, "...we would love a session at our family farm." Not only do I know that there will be an ample amount of options for locations, but it is so sentimental. This family was so wonderful and they truly embraced all of my ideas. Our session turned into an afternoon of adventures, laughs, and games. So many thank yous I have for this family as they invited me to their home and welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. Please enjoy just a snapshot of their session. Enjoy, Jas

  • Winter Mini Sessions

I always search for good light! Light always trumps location in any session. When you get a mixture of both, magic happens! I was fortunate enough to work in Gaudet Tree Nursery outside of Prince Albert to host my Winter Mini Sessions. Surrounded by the beautiful Christmas trees and soft light I captured some wonderful families and couples that day. I am so thankful for the Anne and Ray from Gaudet Tree Nursery, who took the time to tour me around to find the best location for my sessions. Thank you! Please enjoy a few images from the day! Enjoy, Jas

  • Family Session: Mansiere

I love shooting family sessions! Particularly interactive lifestyle images. Having fun and enjoying the session is a must. If you aren't enjoying the experience that can directly reflect in your session. This family had many giggles and smiles throughout the entire experience! I mean how can you not when you get to pretend you're a dinosaur, do silly dances, and run. This is what my sessions are...simply enjoyable! Here is a sneak peak at this wonderful family session! Enjoy, Jas

  • Family: Tetreault

Family sessions at a lake in the Fall time! Why doesn't this happen more? The hustle and bustle of the summer crowd has left and the stillness and calmness of what is left over is beautiful. It is so peaceful to shoot a session in an environment that is secluded. Not only was the lake quiet, but it is also sentimental for this family. They have spent the past year building their dream home and that day we were able to celebrate all their hard work with a session that illustrated that. Here is a handful of images from their session. Enjoy! Jas

  • Senior Lifestyle Session: Shaelynn

Seriously, how gorgeous is this girl? She is graduating and we celebrated with a lifestyle session. Honestly, the entire session flew by! Shae has a beautiful and kind spirit that came through with every picture taken. I wish Shae all the best in the year to come! As well as to enjoy her last year of high school, it passes by so quickly! Thank you for the wonderful session! Enjoy! Jas

  • Christmas

As the holidays approach it is important to think about what matters. Amoungst the gifts, the holiday treats, and the rum and eggnog, are the moments. Every year I become more and more aware of living in the moment and understanding that things aren’t as valuable as experiences. Those experiences create memories and life lessons that shape you. To myself, Christmas time is a chance to gather, laugh, and reflect. It’s a beautiful thing to be surrounded by friends and family. I hope all of you can enjoy the moments that come with the holiday season. Take care, Jas

  • Family: Pilon

Oh Family Sessions! I love them! The fact that I get to capture a group of people who mean the world to each other is so humbling! This family holds true to that! The Pilon family was so wonderful and kind. They really wanted to capture all of that in their session. Not to mention, little Elim was so darn adventurous, he had an entire park to run around in and he did just that! I always get the best images when kids get to be themselves! Here is a sneak peek into their family session. Enjoy! Jas

  • Gratitude: BOB Award 2017

Five years ago when I started dabbling into photography, I never thought it would amount to this! To say I am following my passion is an understatement. Gradually I started to figure out how to work my camera and this curiosity led to so much more. Those of you who have anything you are passionate about understand. When you do it, it never feels like "work." I know, I know another person "following their dreams," blah blah blah. But, to make this up would be a waste of time! Seriously, I love being a photographer. Sometimes, I step back and think, "How do I get to do this everyday?" I have had some wonderful and inspirational people in my life, not just fellow photographers, but dream chasers. Those people who wake up and decide that they always have a choice and it is up to them to decide if they want to live life or just exist to what others feel they should be. Honestly, that concept has been a hard one for me to grasp! Going against society's idea of living. Swimming the other way, so to speak, is something that is freeing. It's a breath of fresh air when people remind you that life is short and understanding what is important is so much more valuable. So, to say I am humbled by the title of, "Best Photography," still doesn't quite capture the gratitude I have for all people who have believed in me, just as much as I am beginning to believe in myself. For that, I say thank you! *Check out the link below for the full article http://panow.com/bob-awards/700508/best-photography

  • Family: Honch

Their hearts are as big as their family! This was such a fun session to do and on Thanksgiving weekend! It was so fitting! Debbie and Dick along with their children, their spouses, and their children all gathered for a family session. Jodi, Debbie and Dick's daughter, expressed that their last family pictures were taken 14 years ago! So, it was time for some updated photos for their walls. The family fun dynamic was so infectious! Between recalling childhood memories, to doing whatever we could to make the little ones giggle, this session was truly a fun and memorable one! I really felt this group illustrated such beautiful family values and it was so nice to capture that all on camera! I am looking forward to our next session. Enjoy! Jas

  • Engagement:Kim and Derrick

Kim and Derrick joined me for an intimate Waskesiu Lake engagement session. We traveled through trails, bridges, and beaches to capture their beautiful love story. Their pup even joined us for a few shots. Thank you for a wonderful evening and I am so excited for their wedding soon! Enjoy! Jas

  • Maternity: Emily and Cooper

If anyone has been following my Instagram posts lately, I have expressed my desire to find all the long green, brown, and yellow grass for my sessions! This location had it all! Not only was the landscape beautiful and sentimental, but I had the most kind-hearted couple. Emily and Cooper, along with their dog Happy (which is the best name ever!) invited me out to a farm just outside of Debden, which has been in the family for many years. I was in awe of the long grass, vintage vehicles and more. I enjoyed every moment of this session. Thank you Emily and Cooper, I wish all the best with your new addition. Enjoy! Jas
